$92,856 p.a + oncall allowancesAbout the role
As a Field Service Engineer based from the Stawell office, you will work closely with other Field Services Engineers and the wider IT Team to make a significant impact supporting our IT systems.Reporting to the Director of Digital Health Services & Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network, cybersecurity, ICT systems, servers, and desktop hardware across the region. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving server rooms / comms rooms, and data centres, as well as providing technical solutions in a professional manner and adhering to ITIL processes.If you are a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of ICT concepts, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve server room, comms room and data centre environments.
  • Regularly check campus locations to ensure equipment and services are operating smoothly.
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Builds and grows relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Adhere to ITIL processes, including Change Management, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, and Major Incident Management when needed.
  • Ensure technical processes follow best practices.
  • Design and implementation of new hardware and software solutions.

Skills and experience

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience managing large networks
  • Office 365 and Azure AD Admin experience
  • Experience working with cloud technology.
  • Extensive experience in installing software patches and updates.
  • Demonstrable PowerShell abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current driver’s license.
  • Excellent at problem solving, self-starter and working autonomously.
