Job description: Description :SummaryReports to HSE Manager. Under general supervision, responsible for field-level implementation and compliance of health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines as instructed. Responsible for a specific project(s) or worksite(s) and GRB coverage. Responsibilities include but are not limited to risk/hazard identification and management, incident reporting/investigation, use of LPS tools, conducting health, safety, and environmental training, and investigation of various aspects of management systems in all areas of HSE. Develops site-specific safety plans, environmental plans, and project site emergency action plans. Conducts inspections and health and safety assessments/audits and ensures compliance with SSSP and SA-38. Assists site management in ensuring compliance with applicable policies, codes, and regulations. Recordkeeping and other general administrative duties.The salary range for this position is $191,100-$200,200/year. This position may be located in our Anchorage or Fairbanks offices. This is a 2 week on/2 week off schedule with 100% travel.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport

  • Provide field HSE support, conduct daily safety meetings, and serve as an advisor to on-site supervision in recognizing and mitigating hazards and/or unsafe behaviors Leads incident investigations and assists with workplace injury case management.

Training and Reporting

  • Conducts, but is not limited to, new hire orientation / HSE training, annual HSE refresher training, specialized training as required, reporting daily safety meetings, filing/submitting/entering data for all training records, and assisting with EHSI reporting.

Work Management

  • Requires excellent organization, work prioritization, and interpersonal skills to communicate, gain trust, and provide leadership to assure the safety and health of employee Good written and oral communication skills and proficient computer skills.

Monitor and Testing

  • Monitor and supply PPE, conduct gas tests, training compliance tracking, process improvement team, investigation of issues, stand-downs, and meeting

SupervisionN/AMinimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field HSE experience, construction, industrial, and/or project work
  • OHST or CHST
  • Physically capable of working in adverse conditions/environment
  • Ability to work extended field schedule as required
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASP or CSP (or in process of attaining)
  • AS in Safety and Health (or in process of attaining)
  • Experience in implementing HSE management systems and client HSE expectations in project execution
  • Experience in leading and completing incident investigations and reports
  • Experience in developing HSE improvement plans and project HSE requirements
  • Experience in developing/implementing site-specific safety plans
  • Experience and knowledge of working with OSHA regulations
  • Experience in delivering HSE training, electronic recordkeeping/data entry
  • Experience in providing case management for workplace injuries
  • Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures
  • Experience in oil and gas
  • Experience on the Trans Alaska Pipeline System
