Job description: Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Directs and coordinates promotion of PDS products to develop new opportunities, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position within the industry.
2.Working directly with Architects/Engineers, Dealer to promote and consult the proper product and interface design.
3.Planning, directing, and managing various sales activities necessary to promote and close on potential sales.
4.Review incoming leads and develop designs.
5.Define Scope of work. Review plans, specifications, as required. Resolve any discrepancies found in plans & specs.
6.Assist dealers/ customers with cost justification of PDS products i.e. show and promote value in all cost variables such as initial costs, maintenance, energy savings, etc.
7.Follow up on all bids and opportunities. Work with and negotiate projects with various General contractors as necessary to support dealers to close orders.
8.Forecasting sales, budgets, and strategies necessary to compete in these markets.
9.Build and maintain list of prospective customers for use as sales leads from various sources such as: BNC database trade show meetings, various organizations such as, business /organization directories, etc.
10.Develop relationships and networking partners within the industry to learn more about direction of various opportunities/projects and other vital information within the industry.
11.Travel as necessary to visit with prospective customers, other decision makers within the industry. This includes working with various trade shows and other industry conferences.
12.Provide various ‘Lunch & Learn’ presentations to various decision makers, influencers, or other relevant industry/Government leaders.
13.Prepare business/trips reports as necessary and maintain expense accounts in accordance to company Travel policy.
14.Develop yearly/monthly sales plans. Provide summary of Current Situation, Forecast, Trends, Roadblocks, Key Initiatives, and any other relevant information necessary to set and achieve Sales Plans.
15.Collaborate and work with Marketing to help generate leads, development of marketing tools (brochures, case studies, video, web, etc.)
16.Enter new customer data and other sales contact data for current and potential customers into computer database.Education and Skills
1.Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration with minimum of 5 years in similar role in similar Industry
2.Fluency in English (written and oral). Fluency in Arabic will be an advantage/preferred
3.Extensive working knowledge the MS office package is needed.
4.A decisive person in commercial projects and organizational development.
5.Strong persuasion and negotiating skills.
6.Ambitious and focus to grow professionally and interpersonally.
