Job description: Job Responsibilities:1.Communicates with other departments to ensure all documentation required is contained within the tender submission.
2.Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.
3.Prepares construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
4.Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
5.Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
6.Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
7.Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
8.Prepares draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included
9.Interprets & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
10.Construes and follow company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
11.Reviews the design outputs for compliance with contractual requirement.
12.Gathers opinion of the project team and fabrication team on the engineering details to prepare final controlled documents of tender
13.Assess the impact due to design changes and revision works due to client instructions.
14.Ensures the project output meeting to the requirement of codes and specifications.
15.Would be responsible for the filling of various tenders with all the formalities.
16.Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
17.Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
18.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
19.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Qualifications
1.Bachelors of Engineering / Master of Engineering / Diploma
