About us:
The Medical Unit works closely with a variety of services within the Rockhampton Hospital, to provide safe patient-focused health care that meets the needs of the community and results in positive patient outcomes. The unit offers a 24-hour, 7 day a week service covering the needs of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
About the role:
The Enrolled Nurse uses nursing knowledge and skills to support a Registered Nurse/Midwife in the provision of patient centred care.
About you:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Nursing knowledge and skills to competently assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- The ability to rapidly acquire the skill to provide guidance to less experienced staff members and education to students.
- Interpersonal and communication skills that support competent nursing practice, delegation, and supervision of assistants in nursing and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Total remuneration value of up to $83,747p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $34.88 – $37.01 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
