Job description: Job DescriptionsWe are looking for an Energy Field Operator (UAE Nationals) who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of gas and steam turbines, HRSGs (Heat Recovery Steam Generators), potline rectifiers, associated plant equipment, and all related utility services within their designated area of responsibility. They are tasked with operating equipment safely and efficiently according to instructions from the Shift Supervisor or Main Control Room Operator.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate all plant and equipment under their control safely and efficiently.
- Promptly and efficiently carry out all instructions provided.
- Record routine parameter readings regularly and report any deviations.
- Notify the Supervisor or control room of any abnormalities or equipment problems.
- Ensure standby equipment is readily available for emergency service.
- Assist in routine testing and re-commissioning of plant after maintenance outages.
- Adhere to safe working practices to ensure personal and plant safety.
- Identify hazards and actively participate in the reporting system.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the designated area.
- Possess full knowledge of emergency procedures related to the equipment in their area of responsibility.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new hires.
- Strive to increase competency in job duties.
- Additional Roles at Jebel Ali Site:
- Responsibilities will be focused on gas turbines, steam turbines, associated plant equipment, and related utilities.
Qualifications:
- Any bachelors or Diploma
- 4 years of experience in a power station.
- 2 years of work experience as a Desalination Operator (PG7) or equivalent in a similar industry.
- Achieved competencies in all areas except DCR (Direct Current Reactor) operation.
- English language skills at Intermediate 3 level or equivalent for preparing and completing shift reports.
- Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Proficiency in understanding single line diagrams.
- Problem-solving, planning, organizing, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
