Job Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewThis position supports the development and delivery of differentiated literacy and English language learning strategies across elementary grade levels. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in co-teaching, ELL interventions, and curriculum integration, ensuring the academic growth of all students with English as an additional language.Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver individual and group support for ELL students in Grades 1-5
  • Co-teach and co-plan with classroom teachers to deliver integrated, differentiated instruction
  • Develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and targeted interventions to support literacy development
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff to identify ELL objectives and monitor progress
  • Schedule and administer WIDA assessments in coordination with the EAL team
  • Analyze student data and provide timely reports to inform instructional decisions
  • Support the design of effective classroom environments that promote English language development
  • Lead teacher training sessions on ELL and literacy instructional strategies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and regulatory policies
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team and student progress meetings as needed

Job RequirementsEducation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (required)
  • Master’s degree in Education or TESOL (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ EAL and/or literacy teaching experience
  • Experience with co-planning, co-teaching, and ELL interventions in an international school setting

Skills:

  • Knowledge of WIDA standards and assessments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Expertise in differentiated instruction and literacy scaffolding
  • Proficiency in developing support plans and working with multi-disciplinary teams
