  • From $101,800 per annum + 12.75% Superannuation.

The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant’s knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.Location Incentives –

  • Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $15,375 per annum.
  • Housing Allowance – up to $8,320 per annum.
  • Locality Allowance – up to $1,879 per annum.
  • Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments – $10,000 after 2 years and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we’ll pay you $15,000 at each milestone.

About the role:As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will:

  • Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
  • Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
  • Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
  • Ability to operate within Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) requirements for quality, safety and risk assessment compliance.
  • Availability for call out and emergency work.
  • Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake a work.
  • Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
