Position Summary:As a Dishwasher at IMG Academy, you will be a critical part of our kitchen team, ensuring that all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained. This role is vital to maintaining the overall cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.This role pays an hourly rate of $15 to $16.Benefits for FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).This position will remain open until May 2, 2025. Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitization:
- Wash and sanitize all cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, and equipment.
- Clean all food service areas and equipment thoroughly.
- Restock plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
- Maintenance of Kitchen Hygiene:
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including counters, sinks, machines, and food line areas.
- Ensure high sanitation standards for all used items, making them ready for reuse without contamination risks.
- Manage garbage disposal and oversee recycling processes, maintaining a safe and clean condition in loading and receiving areas.
- Operational Support:
- Assist with food preparation and perform other kitchen duties as required.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Implement Material Safety Data Sheet (M.S.D.S.) criteria and adhere to strict food, product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a casual or fine dining setting is beneficial.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, pull, or push heavy objects.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Teamwork: Must be willing to work in a team environment and support various areas of the kitchen.
- Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Certifications: Must possess a valid food handling certificate and an alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
