The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Director Support Officer (Cancer, Blood Disorders and Respiratory) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Organise relevant meetings by booking meeting rooms, preparing, and distributing agendas, recording, and disseminating accurate minutes in a timely manner
  • Liaise effectively with all levels of staff to ensure a timely service is provided while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and fairness
  • Work autonomously, organise, prioritise and manage own workload effectively, responding to competing demands, whilst remaining flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the business unit
  • Collate, log and process workflows (Human Resources personnel forms, Finance requisitions/invoicing etc.) within specified timelines

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against – Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $74 722 – $83 097 per annum
