Why Your Role Matters:

The Future Student Recruitment team has been established to strengthen marketing efforts, ensuring UNSW is the premier destination in the state for local students and the premier destination in the country for internationals.

The Digital Experience Manager is the digital product owner for Future Students, responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy and digital development to maximise lead generation and enrolment conversion for Future Students in support of achieving international or local enrolment targets.

The Digital Experience Manager reports to the Head of Digital Experience and has 3 direct reports:

  • Digital Marketing Lead
  • Digital Marketing Tech Specialist
  • Business Analyst

Who You Are:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training, and student recruitment experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of digital marketing / ecommerce, with an understanding of sales funnels and activation. Experience in student recruitment will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing automation tools (Adobe Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Extensive experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
  • Possess strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, adept at leading teams through collaborative and iterative processes to enhance project efficiency, adaptability, and overall team performance.
  • Sound leadership and strong people management skills, with demonstrated experience in managing direct and non-direct reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to engage people of all ages, including those from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of students, staff and external stakeholders. High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
