Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining security services, components and associated infrastructure. This includes but not limited to network and identity access control solutions, vulnerability visibility solutions, SIEM solutions and technical security policy management solutions.
  • Develop standards and patterns based on security policies to ensure consistency in security control requirements and make it repeatable.
  • Review High level and Detailed Level design documents and provide feedback from a security perspective.
  • Translate detailed designs into actionable change controls, and to manage those changes through to completion.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and records regarding security solutions.
  • DevSecOps Engineering combines the technical proficiencies in DevOps culture, automation, and ways of working with knowledge of cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Ensures that the software design balances functional, quality, security, and service management requirements.
  • Measures and monitors applications of project/team standards for software construction including software security.
  • Contributes to the implementation of software architecture best practices such as an organisational micro service ecosystem and to the development of overall software and security architecture policies and guidelines.

Capability and Experience:

  • Extensive expertise in configuring and maintaining security infrastructure across diverse technologies.
  • Proficiency in Segmentation, IAM services, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, WAF, Vulnerability scanner, SIEM, and more.
  • Championing DevSecOps methodologies to automate development, verification, integration, deployment, and service operations.
  • Strong grasp of industry standards and regulatory compliance in security and networking.
  • Advanced operational knowledge spanning on-premises, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS security systems.
  • Proven track record with public cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Desirable: Possession of industry security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GISP, GSLC).
  • Familiarity with information security management frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, PCI DSS, and NIST.
  • Intermediate project management skills and adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated analytical prowess and adeptness in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
