Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to create compelling and user-centric experiences across their suite of crypto products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities: * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define design requirements and priorities.
- Develop and execute a cohesive design strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and final execution, ensuring consistency and excellence in design execution.
- Champion user-centred design principles, conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
- Establish and maintain design systems, patterns, and guidelines to promote consistency and scalability across products and platforms.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and design trends in the crypto space, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and elevate our design capabilities.
- Advocate for design excellence within the organization, promoting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the Crypto/Blockchain industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including web and mobile applications, with a focus on crypto or fintech products preferred.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc., and familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision or Framer.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts.
- Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
