This strategic priority is reshaping our operations and business processes to better serve our customers in terms of cost, quality, and capabilities, while delivering the speed, agility, and insights necessary to stay ahead of rapidly-evolving threats.The LM Enterprise Data Ecosystem (EDE) team is hiring a Data Engineer Sr to support the 1LMX Data Portfolio in the onboarding of its EDE within Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless user management and access control for LM EDE users, providing technical support and guidance to users, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of CP4D. Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Creating and managing user accounts, groups, and roles within CP4D to ensure proper access control and governance
  • Configuring and maintaining user authentication and authorization protocols
  • Troubleshooting user access issues and provide timely resolution
  • Developing and maintaining access control policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance
  • Collaborating with data stewards and owners to ensure that user access is properly authorized and documented
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and data management, to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of CP4D
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating user management processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance user experience

This role is fully remote. System access and program requirements necessitate US Citizenship, with dual citizenship being excluded.Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in user management, access control, and technical support, preferably in a cloud-based environment
  • Strong understanding of data security and governance principles, including access control, authentication, and authorization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • US Citizenship required due to system access, with dual citizenship being excluded for program needs

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) and its user management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of data management and analytics tools, such as data warehousing, business intelligence, and data science
  • Experience with Service Central and/or Service Central citizen developer
  • Experience in automation (Python and Git)
