Job description: The company currently has over 100 multi-brand properties and a clear vision to expand imminently within the GCC region and further afield.
As one of the key members of the Corporate HR and Training Team, the focus is to drive and lead company-related projects and oversee the Learning and Development operations and needs of the group.
With over 100 multi-brand hotels and residences, 10,000 employees, plus more expansion currently underway and planned for the GCC and international markets, some key essential skills are:
- Expand, assess and manage the company’s Learning and Development needs and implement projects. Continuously assess and upgrade these for the group employees to progress in their careers and remain a leading service provider.
- Manage and prepare the Learning and Development strategy, plans and budget.
- Manage excellent Communication and Internal Consultation throughout the group’s properties and within the Corporate Office.
- Manage the selection of Department Trainers, Train, Guide and Develop their skills by providing scheduled Workshops and Meetings with written records.
- Provide structured internal Consulting, Off Job Courses with Trainers. Deliver Report Documents showing measured feedback trends from Training Courses, Client Feedback, The company’s Employee Performance and Appraisals.
Essential:
- A minimum of three years of experience in a group Learning and Development Leadership position with multi-property/brand responsibility supported by a recognised degree or HR/Training qualification.
- Able to travel regularly to hotels and residences in various countries in the GCC and further afield.
- A very high level of computer literacy and excellent written and spoken English.
- Being based in the UAE.
- As one of the key representatives of the Corporate Office, immaculate personal presentation, and a propensity to guide the Senior Managers
- Gulf experience with a stable and structured career path in Learning and Development.
Aptitude and Approach to Work:
This role requires someone who is hands-on and has a passion for working with a successful team. The sensitivities require a person who can deal with a high level of confidential information and use this to anticipate, plan and manage the needs of the business and its people.
