The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological disorders in children from infancy through adolescence.Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide array of pediatric neurological conditions, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, and neurogenetic conditions.
  • Patient Management: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patients’ needs, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment that encompasses medical, social, and psychological support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, physical therapists, and social workers, to deliver integrated and coordinated care.
  • Research and Education: Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in pediatric neurology. Engage in clinical research and contribute to the academic environment by teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Community Outreach: Participate in community education initiatives to raise awareness of pediatric neurological conditions and promote early diagnosis and intervention.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all clinical practices comply with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in pediatric neurology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric neurology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Must be Western-trained
