Job description: Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.To plan, develop and organize the scheduling of the construction activities to formulate the most cost–effective plan to timely completion of the project within the budget.Resource allocation such as manpower and material management at the site.Monitor and follow up on the status of material and shop drawings, submittals and deliveries, especially long lead items and keep all parties informed of the status and follow up on the implementation of the Clients comments in a timely manner.Ensure all builders’ works drawings are comprehensive and discussed with the various engineers for the best implementation and the same is communicated to the main contractor for the implementation of builder work provision at the site.Provide necessary reminders to the planning/procurement department in case of delay in Material /Shop drawing submittals and Material procurement.Check the activities on-site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project manager, Project engineers, and operations for any immediate action.Ensure the production of coordination drawings to ensure that all services are coordinated with each other and the building structure is complying with the contract requirementsMonitor the work program and ensure that the project manager is scheduling the work and highlighting critical issues on an ongoing basis as there will be several issues at any given time during the project tenure.Monitor that work is done at the site based on approved drawing, coordinated drawing, as per approvals, authorities regulations and as per work program.Coordinate with the main contractor at the site to obtain the required scaffolding, builder work provisions, mobile cranes for loading and unloading the MEP equipment etc. as per the subcontract agreement.Monitor the progress of works and report to DGM-Operations to update the project details including progress, quality, risks (if any), manpower and material requirements etc.Distribute detailed information, documents and recent regulations as applicable to all concerned parties and ensure their acknowledgement and adherence to its contents.Monitor that all Engineering instructions are followed. To ensure no variations are carried out on verbal instructions and engineering instructions without variation to be discussed and then implemented.Define clear roles & responsibilities and project deliverable requirements in terms of scope and progress schedule to all team members.Monitor the submission of all monthly and weekly reports.At project close out coordinate the production of as-built drawings to ensure they are delivered as per the contract requirements in terms of quality and time.Ensure that manpower and material are available and no penalties to be levied on ASEME.Coordinate and control the subcontractors at the site to manage and improve the site’s progress.Coordinate with client/consultant to obtain approvals for the executed works at the site.Adhere to company safety standards to promote a safety culture to the team members and to ensure all HSE regulations are implemented at the site.Ensure to conduct the quality meeting with the site team to maintain the quality of work at the site.Ensure that works are carried out at the site only after coordination drawing approvals & mock-up approvals.Ensure that no out-of-scope works are carried out by the project team.Ensure necessary clearances are provided to the main contractor and at the same time necessary clearances are obtained from the main contractor for the seamless workflow for the MEP team.
Expected salary: 17000 – 19000 per month
