Job description: DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join the AWS Specialists and Partners (ASP) organization’s Community Impact team. The ASP Community Impact (CI) team is dedicated to closing the AWS technology skills gap that impacts our AWS Partners and Customers by investing in people from marginalized, underserved, and underrepresented, communities. Our mission is to harness the collective potential of the AWS Partner Network, AWS Learning Programs, and local Community Impact Partners to skill, reskill, and upskill current and future tech talent through accessible technical and business training, pathways to employment, and opportunities for career advancement.The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-impact programs across the organization. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to drive results through influence and leadership. The Senior Program Manager drives scale and impact through building partnerships across varying cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.Key job responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution:

  • Drive large-scale, complex programs from conception through delivery
  • Manage multiple interdependent workstreams and $10M+ program budgets
  • Develop comprehensive program strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage matrix relationships
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve escalations, and remove obstacles
  • Create and maintain program governance frameworks

Strategic Planning & Management:

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align program objectives with business strategy
  • Develop and track program KPIs and success metrics
  • Lead strategic planning sessions and steering committee meetings
  • Manage change management and communication strategies
  • Create and present executive-level updates and recommendations

Operational Excellence:

  • Establish best practices and standard methodologies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop scalable processes and templates
  • Mentor junior program managers
  • Lead process optimization efforts

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Bachelor’s degree
– Stakeholder management experience at executive levelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Master’s degree (MBA preferred)
– Experience in technology sector
– Agile/Scrum certification
– International program management experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
