SAIC is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure/Data Center Service Delivery Manager to lead and oversee the efficient delivery of data center services in support of a managed services engagement for a major Public Sector account. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our data center operations, managing client relationships, driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading a team of technical specialists.
*Candidate must be able to support west coast/PST working hours.
- The SDM will serve as a point of escalation when critical issues occur, ensuring that resources are aligned with client requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a high degree of client satisfaction.
- The SDM leads and manages the end-to-end delivery of data center services, ensuring compliance to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Will provide oversight and management of all data center services, including: server & server virtualization, data storage, Active Directory, email, Public and private cloud-based solutions. The environment consists of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, on-prem systems, multiple database platforms, several mission critical applications (SAP, Court Case Management Applications, CCPOR), and DR/BC services.
- This is a remote position with minimal travel requirements, flexible west coast hours, and occasional weekend and off hours escalations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
– 12+ years experience in mission-critical IT operations with a minimum of 5 years in an IT leadership role
– Minimum 5 years specializing in cloud and hybrid solutions using Microsoft Azure
– Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, cloud networking and Azure security best practices
– Solid understanding of ITIL service management, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Configuration, and performance metrics
– Extensive experience in data center operations, 24×7 service delivery management, and Cloud Migration Projects
– Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
– Exceptional collaboration skills using a solutions and customer-service-oriented approach
– Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
– Must be able to pass the California Department of Justice and FBI background check process
Target salary range: $150,001 – $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
