Job description: $1500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment. In collaboration Tucson Hebrew Academy, provide counseling support and educational services to the youth and families attending the school program in addition to the educators.JFCS offers exceptional clinical training opportunities and clinical supervision. Graduates from clinical programs and associate level clinicians interested in obtaining independent licensure are supervised by seasoned supervisors approved by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AzBBHE).ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform full cycle of therapeutic services including but not limited to facilitating groups, providing counseling to students and families, completion of clinical assessment and evaluations, progress notes, and crisis intervention.
- Develop lesson plans based on a psychosocial curriculum and teach lesson plans with each school grade on a weekly basis. The frequency of developing and implementing lesson plans may be increased in remote-learning situations.
- Meet treatment standards as specified in contracts or special grants, and agency protocols in terms of timeliness of service, number and duration of services provided, and timeliness of paperwork and reporting completion.
- Adhere to agency protocols, legal and contract requirements, and professional standards regarding time sheets, monthly statistics and other record keeping.
- Complete and maintain entries into electronic medical record system.
- Gather data as required by external funding sources.
- Maintain case records according to agency protocols and provides to clinical supervisor for reporting on contract.
- Refer clients to other resources when indicated.
- Collaborate and consult with other staff members, both THA and JFCS as needed, and participate in supervision on therapeutic practices and case presentation.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WORK HOURS, SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITYThis position often works weekdays, however there may be some evening or weekend events that will require your attendance in order to best represent the Agency. Some flexibility in scheduling exists, as long as Agency needs are being adequately addressed.COMMUNICATION AND INTERFACE

REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Must be licensed in the State of Arizona at the Associate level or eligible for state licensure (i.e., demonstrate having passed the licensure exam or approval by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to take the licensure exam) at the time of hire and obtain licensure within six months of hire
- Working knowledge of community resources

Expected salary: $26.44 – 28.84 per hour
