About us:
The Rockhampton Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) meets the Clinical Services Capability Framework V3.2 as a Level 5 Adult and Level 4 Paediatric ICU. The ICU is capable of providing complex multisystem general intensive care life support including ventilation, renal replacement therapy and invasive cardiovascular monitoring for an indefinite period.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and skills to support the delivery of excellent patient-centred care across the continuum by applying context specific expert clinical knowledge to the co-ordination of patient care activities within the Intensive Care Unit.
About you:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Current Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current annual practising certificate.
- Expert and comprehensive knowledge of contemporary nursing practice within the Intensive Care environment.
- Expert clinical skills to care for critically ill patients and/or support registered nurses in caring for critically ill patients.
- Advanced skills in people management, including negotiation, communication and conflict resolution.

Total remuneration value of up to $128,057 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $52.86 – $56.60 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
