An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Midwife Specialist to join the Midwifery team at Carnarvon Health Campus – Midwest.
To be successful, you will have…
- An endorsement for scheduled medicines for midwives with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Advanced clinical experience, knowledge and leadership in midwifery care across the continuum
- Well-developed clinical problem-solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including negotiation skills
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts including legislative obligations
- Experience in quality improvement, its practical application in meeting patient’s needs and its relationship to strategic development
Position Profile:
This role provides advanced midwifery assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to pregnant people and families within the scope of practice of an Endorsed Midwife. The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives – across a broad range of patient-facing roles – on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations.
