Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Actively undertake targeted audit of clinical coding and associated DRG allocation in conjunction with SCHHS audit plans and identified deficiencies.
- Contribute to Clinical Coding Services within SCHHS, including the provision of training and development of education material, and actively upskill new and existing Clinical Coders and peer Clinical Documentation Specialists.
- Support the provision of advice in relation to the Queensland Health Activity Based Funding (ABF) model, sub- and non-acute patients (SNAP), and other clinical coding related matters.
- Assign accurate morbidity and procedural codes to episodes of care, through abstraction of relevant information from the patient record and ensuring appropriate and optimal allocation of AR-DRGs.
Remuneration value up to $127 235 p.a., comprising salary between $102 492 – $111 516 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5).
