The Client Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing customer interactions and ensuring smooth operations within our freight forwarding department. The ideal candidate will have a background in freight forwarding and experience with Bill of Entry documentation. They will be responsible for providing high-quality service, resolving customer inquiries, and coordinating with various departments to meet client needs.Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing client expectations effectively.
- Freight Coordination: Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining clear communication with clients.
- Bill of Entry Management: Prepare and process Bill of Entry documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely clearance of goods.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, transactions, and documentation related to freight forwarding.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, deliveries, or documentation in a prompt and professional manner.
- Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customs, to ensure smooth handling of shipments and efficient resolution of any issues.
- Reporting: Generate and provide reports on customer service metrics, shipment status, and other relevant data to management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a customer service role within a freight forwarding company.
- Bill of Entry: Proven experience with Bill of Entry documentation and procedures.
- UAE Experience: Demonstrated experience working in the UAE, with a thorough understanding of local customs regulations and industry practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and provide effective solutions.
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and customer information.
