Job description: Roles & Responsibilities :Financial Planning and StrategyDevelop and implement financial strategies and plans.Forecast financial results and prepare budgets.Identify and manage financial risks.Financial Reporting and AnalysisOversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Analyze financial data to guide executive decisions.Budget ManagementManage the organization’s budgeting process.Monitor and control expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.Implement cost-saving initiatives.Investment ManagementOversee investment activities and manage the organization’s investment portfolio.Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities.Treasury and Cash Flow ManagementManage the organization’s cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity.Optimize the organization’s capital structure.Risk ManagementIdentify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.Strategic LeadershipProvide financial insights and guidance to the CEO and the board of directors.Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.Align financial goals with the organization’s overall strategy.Compliance and GovernanceEnsure adherence to financial laws and regulations.Oversee internal audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.Maintain transparent financial practices and reporting.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead and mentor the finance team.Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of financial staff.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Stakeholder RelationsManage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.Communicate financial performance and strategies to stakeholders.Handle mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Key Requirements :Maritime Experience is a plus.Minimum 5-8 years’ experience on similar role.Chartered Accountant.Thorough knowledge and experience of Maritime.Hands-on experience with ERP software.Advanced MS Excel skills with aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and management skills.Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Expected salary: 20000 – 25000 per month
