Job description: My client in the Agricultural Sector is looking for a Chief Accountant to join their team. Required fully bilingual individuals (English & Afrikaans) for this position. Must be a qualified CA (SA) with 3 years relevant accounting experience, post articles.Key Responsibilities:

- Interim and Financial Reporting (project leader)
- Compile consolidation income statements, balance sheet and cashflow statements within specific deadline dates
- Compile consolidated financial statements -ensuring compliance with IFRS standards
- Scrutinize Group financial TB for any variances
- Improve overall bi-annual & annual year-end close and reporting processes
- Serve as project leader for the Audit Committee in terms of planning and coordination
- Research best practice and legislative changes, and provide overview of statutory requirements
- Employee Management – performance of employees, and provide in-house training and guidance and support to employees
