This individual will be a strong positive leader, highly customer focused, efficient, and results oriented.This role will be responsible for leading the regional channel sales team covering Michigan and Ohio. This role will be responsible, but not limited to the following:Coaching assigned Channel Managers (CAM), setting clear monthly, quarterly, and annual business goalsLeverages MSI adopted business tools and practices designed to facilitate, manage, and measure progress and overall performanceResponsible for managing the channel partner led opportunities and growing the pipelineCreates and executes comprehensive business plans and practices to be leveraged in fostering deeper relationships with both internal and partner organizations, and key stakeholdersAnticipates channel and market needs/opportunities and works to couple with MSI’s video and security and access control portfolioBuilds multi level relationships across channel partner community along with industry influencersLeads creation of innovative marketing, service and supply chain approaches designed to benefit MSI and while bringing value to the channel partnersOwns representing the channel perspective to Motorola Solutions and ensuring collaboration by linking channel partner success to MSI’s ability to initiate and build solid working relationships with diverse channel partner decision makers and influencersMaintains full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices and owns conformance across the teamWorks with key work partners to create a highly collaborative, high caliber, high energy, high impact operating environmentSpecific Knowledge & Skills:5+ years of Channel Management or Sales experienceSeeking 1+ years of Leadership experienceBachelor’s Degree is preferredSeeking knowledge of both traditional and emerging technologies in video/access control and how they may apply to our channel partnersSustained high quota and performance results over multiple years both at the team and individual levelDemonstrated ability to energize and lead high caliber cross functional teamsIndividual must have strong Interpersonal / presentation skills and the ability to deliver complex solutions in simple termsAbility to travel extensively throughout regionSeeking candidates based in the territoryApproximately 50-75% of regional travel is required. Majority of travel within the territory will be by car, but some national & international air travel can be expected for tradeshows and sales conferencesTarget Base Salary Range: $67,100 – $148,400 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
