About the Role
The role will work closely with the family services Case Managers and Team Leaders to support an integrated response to vulnerable Aboriginal children, families and communities. Its main function is to support the day-to-day Intake function, Emergency Relief Services activities, some transport supports and active holding families for very short periods before they are allocated to Case Managers.

- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the values that underpin VACCA’ vision and purpose
- Ability to engage and support Aboriginal community members, both adults and children.
- Ability to have clear, culturally appropriate, and respectful communication skill with individuals, families, and professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
- Reliable and open to learning
- Able to multi-task and prioritise duties.
- Good organisational skills and ability to attend to detail to meet professional compliance standards.
- Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain), a Police Check, and a full Victorian Drivers Licence
