Job description: Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Identify and source furniture and home decor products that align with the brand’s vision and customer demand.
2.Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
3.Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to curate an optimal product mix
4.Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure timely product availability and assortment planning
5.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams for stock replenishment.
6.Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
7.Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies in all procurement activities.
8.Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation.
9.Work closely with marketing teams for promotional planning and pricing strategies.
10.Prepare reports on product performance, sales trends, and supplier performance.Qualifications
1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field.
2.Work Experience: Strong understanding of furniture trends, home decor products, and customer buying behaviors. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in buying, procurement, or merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home retail industry.
3.Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
4.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, trends, and inventory levels.
