About the role
Main tasks: The primary focus of this role is to share your time between generating new business opportunities and working with a portfolio of existing customers.

Other tasks:
Identify and target new business opportunities within the timber packaging and landscape timber markets
Collaborate with internal teams to provide market feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
Estimate and quote product solutions to prospective clients
Develop strong relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers in the industry
Provide market feedback to company leadership regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs
Maintain a good mix of road and office-based activities
Occasionally travel to areas including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and far north Queensland for business purposes.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • A proven track record of sales success within a related field
  • Strong written & verbal communication, coupled with negotiation skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients & stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within Queensland as part of the role.

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Previous experience with pallets, crates, dunnage, timber or timber-based products
  • Knowledge of the landscape timber market
  • Familiarity with estimating and quoting product solutions
