Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Bookkeeping Officer. As a Bookkeeping Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. This role requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining general ledgers
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to management, highlighting any significant variances
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoice processing and payment collections
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and recommendations
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax consultants, to facilitate financial reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax preparation is a plus

Expected salary: 5200 – 5500 per month

Location: Dubai
