Duration: PermPay Rate: $60,000 -$70,000
Location: Long Island City, NY – *5 days a week in office*

****Must be bilingual in SpanishJob Description:The Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for executing their account billing processes and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices. You will be key in maintaining accurate financial records, providing excellent client communications and services, and supporting our finance team.Responsibilities: Billing Procedures:
- Prepare and send out invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensure invoices are compliant with company policies and client agreements.
- Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with clients. • Accounts Receivable Management:
- Proactively monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports, routinely according to the client expectations.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate with clients to facilitate payment.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions, invoices, and payments.
- Update financial databases and accounting software with billing information.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth billing operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding billing queries
Ad Hoc
- Assist the controller in providing audit materials during audits, as needed.
- Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance.
- A demonstrated working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledgeable about software portals COUPA, CORRIGO, TAULIA, etc.
- Strong analytical mindset – the ability to analyze and interpret data to draw accurate conclusions, prioritize work, and elevate concerns appropriately.
- Must possess strong client relations skills, including active listening, professional demeanor, understanding, account knowledge, adaptability, and follow-through.
- Must be highly organized with great attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise positively with all levels of management.
- Self-starter able to work with high urgency to meet deadlines.
Expected salary: $60000 – 70000 per year
