Serves liquor, soda, beer, and wine. Prepares alcoholic drinks by selecting proper premix and garnish. Prepares garnishes for mixed drinks. Maintains strict adherence to policy, procedures and standards. Receives payment or charges to members account. Makes change and is accountable for cash fund. Assists in maintaining inventory and records. Keeps bar area clean and keeps area stocked properly at all times. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. Will perform other sanitation duties within assigned work area as required.Provides World Class Customer Service (as defined by MCCS) with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists guests and communicates positively, in a friendly manner. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the Bar Lead. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.Performs other related duties as required. EVALUATIONS:QualificationsSkills and Knowledge: Ability to read and comprehend the English language and write it legibly. Skill in preparing beverages according to name request from guests. Ability to suggestive sell. Ability to perform tasks with several steps and use judgement in the performance of sequential tasks. Ability to serve uniform individual portions and to avoid distractions (e.g., when several people ask for different items at the same time). Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and seek assistance to resolve the problem. Ability to read and follow instructions. Ability to perform simple arithmetic. Knowledge of cash handling procedures.Responsibility: Receives general instructions from the Bar Lead. Independently performs duties according to standard operating procedures.Physical Effort: This requires walking or standing for long periods of time and frequently requires lifting up to 45 lbs. May be required to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance. Uses dolly to transport beer kegs.Working Conditions: Works inside with adequate lighting, heat and ventilation and on occasion, works outside in various temperatures/climates. Works nights and weekends.
