OverviewWe are seeking an Associate Midwifery Unit Manager to join the Ceduna District Health Services, Midwifery Group Practice, in providing direct care to maternity clients.In this pivotal position, you will be promoting continuity and consistency of care, you will contribute to the implementation of practice changes and service delivery and oversee the provision of midwifery care within the MGP team. You will be assisting the Midwife Unit Manager in undertaking unit management responsibilities, e.g. performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management, financial and supplies planning and monitoring.EligibilityApplicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
