Job Type: Full TimeJob OverviewAs Assistant Manager – Conferences and Events, you will play a key role in ensuring that all meetings, conferences, and special events at Jumeirah Beach Hotel run smoothly and exceed guest expectations. This position is designed for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for service excellence and local talent development.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of conferences and events from planning to execution
- Serve as the main point of contact for client communications before, during, and after events
- Provide guidance and support to event staff, ensuring operational readiness and quality service
- Liaise with departments and vendors for setup, AV requirements, and catering logistics
- Assist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and process improvements to maximize efficiency
- Ensure all health, safety, and service standards are consistently maintained
Job Requirements
- UAE National with Family Book, as per Emiratisation guidelines
- 5 to 8 years of experience in events, banquets, or hospitality coordination roles
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Detail-focused and customer-oriented with a proactive mindset
