- Support the development of seasonal buying strategies aligned with brand and financial goals
- Collaborate on assortment planning, investment allocation, and product phasing schedules
- Assist with OTB (Open-to-Buy) execution, purchase orders, and budget controls
- Coordinate with suppliers for sample development, order placement, and timely delivery
- Support vendor negotiations for pricing, terms, and added-value services
- Analyze weekly sales performance by category, store, and SKU to recommend in-season actions
- Propose markdowns, reorders, or rebalancing based on stock levels and margin targets
- Conduct competitor research and trend analysis to support future product decisions
- Maintain and update product lifecycle plans and buying documentation
- Collaborate with visual merchandising and marketing to align product launches and seasonal stories
- Contribute to staff training on new product features and collections
Ideal Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in retail buying or merchandising, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership or coordination role
- Strong understanding of inventory management, purchase order flows, and category performance analysis
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of OTB planning, vendor relations, and merchandising calendars
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail ERP systems
