This role involves developing new software features, addressing complex technical issues, maintaining high-quality code, and supporting CI/CD processes. The engineer will also create technical documentation, adapt to changing project requirements, and work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, demonstrating self-motivation and a strong desire to learn emerging technologies.This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.Role Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions using diverse programming languages and technologies using various programming languages and technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, React, SQL Server, Postgres, Databricks, Python, Terraform, and Elasticsearch.
- Design, develop, and implement new software features or modifications to existing software based on functional requirements
- Identify and address complex technical issues efficiently through keen problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Exhibit a strong desire to learn and explore emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance knowledge and skills
- Maintain high-quality code through rigorous code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
- Ensure stability, efficiency, security, and quality of all shipped code by supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Support runtime platform maintenance, integration of new features, and release fixes
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and support continuous development efforts

Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience required
- 3-5 years of software development experience
- 3-5 years of experience developing modern web applications
- Advanced AWS or Azure Certification preferred
- Ability to travel 10%
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $115,000- $180,000 which includes a base salary and bonus.
