Job description: About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a community-minded and talented people leader to showcase their leadership and business development skills in the position of Area Manager in our Bowen Region.
As an Area Manager you will have a range of responsibilities which include developing, leading, and controlling the effective operations of Queensland Country Bank by providing a high standard of professional service and support to ensure the achievement of set goals and objectives for the branch area. This is to ensure all branch staff continually offer a high standard of Member service and support to internal and external members within their defined job descriptions.
This is a full-time position based on a 38 hour work week however the successful applicant must be prepared to work outside of these hours if required.
About You
To be eligible to apply for this position you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated business development skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience and skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, time management skills and conflict resolution
- Management experience of medium to large teams
- A willingness and passion to get involved in the local community
- Financial Services industry and mortgage lending experience (desirable)
