We may have the right role for you then, bringing an exciting opportunity to join the NDIA’s Agency ICT Services Branch as an APS5 Technology Assets Officer.The Agency ICT Services Branch provides essential technology services and support to NDIA staff and partners. The branch manages the relationship with Services Australia and other external ICT service providers within the agreed service levels.Where you can add valueThe position will be required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to NDIA’s objectives.Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Identifying, documenting and categorising practise work items including, technology contract renewals, reporting and maintenance activities.
- Engaging the relevant practice process that manage the work item through its entire lifecycle.
- Supporting the APS6 Technology Asset Officer in the effective execution of practice responsibilities.
- Engaging with technical owners and stakeholders and facilitating the relevant forums to enable efficient resolution of practise work items to effective business outcomes.
Enough about us, let’s talk about youWhilst not being a requirement, previous experience in hardware asset management would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills to handle queries from people from diverse settings.This role is a team membership position and will draw on candidates’ ability to organise their workflow and make independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. You will be confident in working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.You will exhibit a positive contemporary attitude to people with disability and have a high-level understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.Your NDIA ExperienceThe position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support.

While this role is ideally performed from Rockingham – WA, Perth – WA or Midland – WA, remote working arrangements may be considered.
