Position Highlights This position is responsible for the architecture, configuration, deployment, and management of large-scale production systems and enterprise software solutions. This role involves coordinating infrastructure and database activities, defining and maintaining procedures, and ensuring compliance with IT standards and best practices. The developer will implement solutions using web application frameworks, web services, microservices, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and integrate with third-party systems like CampusNexus, Canvas, and Workday. The position requires familiarity with Test Driven Development, Agile methodologies, and experience transitioning services from Azure to AWS. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills. Duties & Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, debugs and maintains web and application – based solutions ASP.NET (C#), SQL, and Microsoft Azure.
- Creates and communicates integration development goals and strategies, develops network architectures, asynchronous messaging architectures, and rule-based systems.
- Participates in all phases of the software development life-cycle â requirements, architecture/design, implementation, testing, release, maintenance of our enterprise software applications.
- Writes and reviews artifacts during the software lifecycle.
- Works with customers to support enhancements and fixes to existing applications in production.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensures that projects are conducted in ways that benefit the project objectives, the people participating in the project, and the Universityâs long-term interests.
- Performs design, code and test reviews of solutions.
- Ensures company security and compliance standards are met.
- Accepts and provides technical solutions and direction.
- Assists in process improvement initiatives.
- Assists external auditors, regulatory auditors and other 3rd parties as needed.
- Maintains the integrity and seamless operation of UAGCâs integration architecture, analyzing and improving existing system integration and migration techniques, detecting, debugging, and providing counsel on system flaws or architectural problems, and assisting in the administration of organizational databases or retrieval systems.
