Our Discover Network Fraud organization is comprised of autonomous product teams responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based and on-prem solutions that meet Fraud and Transaction Monitoring Business needs. Looking for an Business Process Management (BPM/BAW) technical engineer responsible for the build and automation of different processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production
  • Tends to Associate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks, directs the work of Senior Associate Application Engineers, and helps them continue to grow
  • Achieves team commitments (and influence others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills
  • Has an oversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them
  • Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures
  • Contributes to and leads technology communities at Discover
  • Experience in Administration, Configuration, Implementation, testing and Support of BPM.
  • Documents detail level design specifications and code changes

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelors – Computer Science or related
  • 3+ Years – Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
  • Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Knowledge on Open Shift Container platform or Kubernetes platforms
  • Having 3x BPM certified
  • Hands on experience in IBM BAW, Process design modelling and development.
  • Experience in application development, applying core design and development principles involving Business Process Management and Web application development.
  • Automation of processes with IBM BPM suite, Manage and support process applications, toolkits, snapshots and debugging.
  • IBM BAW Coaches Development using COACHES and UI toolkits along with headless portal exposure
  • Analyze and identify new product features, prioritize tasks and having experience with application migration to new BPM versions.
  • Hands-on experience in. BPM UI toolkit/Spark UI toolkit. Integrating IBM BPM with external technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge in integration to all operations related to a workflow in IBM BPM using OOTB REST API.
  • Experience with latest Client-side Human services, Rest API, CSS, Ajax services, Spring Framework, Angular/React, NodeJs, and other Java script technologies.
  • Experience in DevOps and build tools using Jenkins, Gradle, Github., Nexus and SonarQube and other code coverage tools.
  • Experience with writing complex SQLs with Oracle or any Relational DB.
  • Developed cloud native applications, deployment in AWS/cloud platforms
  • Good knowledge with Agile, Scrum methodology.
  • Having Certified in BPM and Process Automations.

Compensation: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $86,500.00 to $146,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
