This important role will see you working within the John L Grove inpatient Rehabilitation team. As an Allied Health Assistant in this team, you will need the skills to support the Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to provide patient centred care, and help clients reach their goals by delivering and supporting therapy programs. And we’ll be committed to seeing you thrive. We’ll look after you from the very beginning, ensuring you are fully welcomed into our team.

The role:

Assist with the daily functioning of Allied Health Professional (AHP) services.

Undertake tasks under direction of AHP’s.

Details of Appointment

Position 521478: Permanent, part time, day worker position working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible

Position 523289: Fixed term, casual, day worker position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months

Salary: $65,236 to $68,925 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: * Certificate IV in Health Service Assistance (Allied Health Assistance) or equivalent qualification

  • Tertiary student of a relevant and approved allied health course of study at a recognised tertiary institution
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Current Driver’s Licence

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: * Conviction checks in the following areas:
