Job description: Job Description:Salary range: $68,132-$85,229Posting expires: April 10, 2025General Description and Classification Standards· Plans, organizes, and implements training programs for employees in assigned department to enhance employee education/skill level or may facilitate and implement safety related training, inspections and programs that enhance the safety and health of employees.· This is an experienced, professional level capable of carrying out most assignments typical of the profession with limited guidance or review. This level would be considered a promotional level and attainable by any incumbent in a work group who demonstrate the necessary knowledge, ability, and performance. Could be the only professional in this specialty in a work group.· Continuously enhance or improve existing safety policies, products, and methods.· Identify safety resource needs and develops justification. Participate in the development of safety guidelines and related environmental health and safety communications and educational information.· Provide advice and assistance to ensure that an effective Health and Safety Program is implemented and working. Analyze and assess safety risks and threats to the ATL, associates, or assets. Monitor open-source information to identify threats and escalate appropriately.· Evaluate escalating situations, apply critical thinking, and coordinate effectively with other personnel. Build and maintain business relationships internally, as well as with external partners. Display strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather information, conduct analyses, and present findings.· Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and protocols. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.· Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions. Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite· May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Facilitates and implement safety related training, inspections and programs that enhance the safety and health of employees.· Performs safety inspections and accident investigations and performs safety training.· Performs safety analysis and reporting and facilitates safety committee meetings.· Implements work compensation programs.· Process Monthly Safety Data Trend Analysis and Scorecards· Conduct Safety Inspections and Observations Support· Backup for Monthly Safety Award support· OneATL Safety Security Risk Expo Committee Chair· Process Origami Safety Incidents Data Support and Origami Accident reporting· Back up for Drive Risk Management System· Backup for Safety Training SupportDecision MakingSelects from multiple procedures and methods to accomplish tasks.Leadership ProvidedMay oversee temporary or contract workers as needed.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesThis is a partial listing of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job successfully.
