Apply today!Whitewater’s Performance Service department is looking for a candidate to join us in the following role:Position: After Sales and Service SpecialistDepartment: Performance ServicesLocation: Dubai, UAEReports to: Performance Services Manager, MEI OfficeReporting to the Performance Services Manager, MEI Office, the After Sales and Service Specialist role Generalist role works with outside sales and other members of the After Sales Service team to grow existing customer base, create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margins with increased customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate is customer-centric, energetic, and a self-starter who can work independently and in collaboration with other teams. This role requires flexibility to work regularly collaborate with Canada office in PST hours to meet the business needs. The position has no direct reports.YOUR ROLE

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
  • Develop/Enhance processes for repeat and new sales.
  • Understand and develop process maps for sales requiring other stakeholders, specifically engineering and understand the constraints.
  • Focus on the Performance Services MEI Tiered approach.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop or enhance brochures for the region outlining what Performance services provides (updated every 6 months or when new service/part available).
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with the standard procedures.
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns utilizing Enterprise
  • Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
  • Increase sales by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
  • Regularly educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected delivery dates.
  • Closely monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
  • Stay updated on consumer preferences and product developments by attending sales meetings, trade shows and Industry conferences.
  • Set up and maintain customer files, maintain accurate contacts, addresses and product details in Customer Relationship management (CRM).
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction linked to quality issues.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members in the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned; WhiteWater is an innovative and dynamic company and therefore the position and tasks may evolve with the organizational needs and your expertise.
  • Responsible for safety; ensure best practices are followed.

YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Operations, Quality, Engineering and/or related field; an MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Prior project management experience and/or related experience with construction management, construction projects, Aquatic Centers or Family Entertainment Centers are considered an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills, data entry and knowledge of other common office equipment and software.
  • Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledge; self-obtain at least one credential or certification annually over the duration of 12-month period.
  • Flexible to work with various time zones in a global organization.
  • Exceptional ability to listen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and process improvement.

Expected salary: 17000 – 22000 per month
