Job description: Mercy Community Services supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Our services span the continuum of aged care, from home care to respite and believe a big part of what we do is to help our clients flourish. We are presently looking for the right person to support both our Clients and Carers in a rostering role.
As a Administration Schedular, you’ll will be responsible for preparing rosters to meet the needs of our clients in various locations across Brisbane.
$65, 000 – $70,000 per annum plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience
What you’ll be doing
- Implementing a master roster and rostering staff according to their skills, knowledge, and interpersonal abilities with the appropriate clients
- Ensuring rosters are staffed to meet guidelines, legislative requirements, and Mercy policies
- Arranging replacement staff for planned and unplanned leave
- Maintaining comprehensive records – including timesheets and staff leave
- Liaise with labour hire companies as needed ensuring all temp staff meet probity requirements
- Participate in rostered after hours on-call support as needed
About you:
As someone with great people skills and a genuine empathy towards the ageing population, you’ll present with:
- Experience in creating & maintaining rosters and in an administration role
- Good understanding of industrial legislation and guidelines relating to shift work
- Experience using Home Care Manager or other client record systems
- Queensland Provisional Green or above licence
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desirable)
