An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and friendly team player to join the Day Rehabilitation Program as a permanent, full time employee.

The Day Rehabilitation Program is a short-term outpatient therapy program offering patients access to intensive therapy with numerous allied health and medical appointments.

The Administration Officer working with the Day Rehabilitation Program will be integrated within a team of allied health professionals. The role has an integral role to the smooth execution of services within a fast paced and patient-centred program.

The suitably qualified applicant will demonstrate high level organisation and communication skills. Support will be available for training and ongoing professional development opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

To provide clerical support to patients and clinicians. To maintain general organisation and operational procedures in the department along with provision of clerical and reception support. Maybe required to work in other clerical areas of hospital.

Selection Criteria: * Demonstrated experience in a medical outpatient setting and practical medical terminology.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrating commitment to continuous quality improvement and quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated high level word processing skills and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using eClaim / PBRC or similar billing system..
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using eMR and iPM or similar outpatient booking system.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, problem solve and prioritise while working in a team setting and autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to continuous quality improvement and customer focused service.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
