Job description: Our client in the die-casting industry is seeking an Admin/PA assistant. The products range from buttons, rivets and buckles to keyrings and medals, they have a great selection of die-cast products. All the designing, moulding, casting and plating are done in-house which gives them the edge in getting products delivered swiftly and efficiently. The successful Candidate would need to be Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans and English), well-groomed and highly efficient. You will be the PA to 3 Directors and report to the Operations manager.Min Requirements:
- Matric with PA/Secretarial/Office Admin Diploma or qualifications in a relevant discipline and recent experience in a similar role
- Fluent in Afrikaans (Written and Verbal)
- PA experience at Manager level +/- 3 years
- Experience in Finance administration will be advantageous.
- Experience with Quickbooks, Pastel, invoicing, and statements.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work speedily and accurately
- The ability to exercise independent judgment and use initiative to make sound decisions and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure messages are correct and conveyed timeously
- Communicate effectively with clients and have a client service approach.
- Control, monitor and record calls.
- Ensure Customers are directed to the employee to be visited/contacted
- Ensure Customer’s comfort whilst in the waiting period
- Ensure all calls are answered promptly and pleasantly
- Ensure cleanliness of the reception area Limit hang-on calls by offering callbacks.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, screening and responding to emails.
- Diary management including rescheduling and booking meetings, and travel booking.
- Filing documents, reference materials etc in a logical manner and ensuring this is kept up-to-date, accurate and confidentially stored.
- Welcoming guests and other visitors; managing any waiting period so that visitors are comfortable; interacting professionally with external clients and acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with external and internal staff professionally and confidentially.

The salary on offer is R7000 – R8000 per month. The salary can be reviewed after 3 months and commission can be earned on sales orders. Office hours are from 7 am – 4:15 Monday to Thu. Friday from 7 am – 15:15.
