We have an urgent vacancy for an accounts payable role to fill. This is a 3-month fixed term contract. The perfect candidate would have completed their SAIPA internship and wanting to gain some more work experience.
MAIN FUNCTIONS REQUIRED:
- Performing the full accounts payable function, by processing all related documents, reconciling to supplier statements and investigating and resolving internal and external queries.
- Processing of supplier invoices according to the company processes.
- Reconciliations from the supplier statement to the supplier account and GRNi.
- Responding to stakeholder queries on payment of invoices and general queries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum a diploma / degree in Accounting.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience, in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector (advantageous).
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving-skills.
- Strong customer satisfaction orientation.
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook.
- Experienced in using SAP and VIM.
OTHER:
- Salary is between R17 000 per month and R19 000 dependent on experience.
- This is only a fixed term contract with NO possibility of becoming permanent however offers valuable work experience to a young qualified accounting graduate.
- The contract will run until end June 2024
