Job description: Are you a detail-oriented creditors clerk with a passion for numbers, looking for an exciting opportunity to join a global company and contribute to its financial success? Look no further! We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk with proven experience to join this team!
You will be responsible, yet not limited to the following duties:
You will be carrying out Accounts Payable transaction processing for a variety of companies within this group
Liaise with business teams and vendors to ensure appropriate service standards and controls are maintained
Process invoice, expense and purchase order in compliance with the companies policies and procedures
Answer suppliers and business queries in a timely and effective manner
Complete statement reconciliation to validate vendor account balances
Payment run generation and reporting
Process urgent payments
Understand expense accounts and cost centers
Have an understanding of the compliance issues centered around transactional tax accounting
Process documents during initial knowledge transfers using standard templates
Maintain Customer Master file records in line with business requests for new and existing customers
Refine processes and controls
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a creditors role
Knowledge of the Media and Digital sectors is beneficial
Experience working in a company with multiple entities
Experience working in on standard ERP
Experienced in Microsoft office packages
Qualification:
Matric
Diploma in the relevant field would be advantageous
