Job description: Job Summary We have a position available for a Financial Accountant (Group Finance) within Group Finance who will be responsible for financial statements, IFRS compliance and monthly group financial reporting located in Klerksdorp. To qualify for this position a candidate requires: Qualified CA (SA). Experience in Financial accounting and Group consolidations. Proven expertise in IFRS and disclosure requirements. Proven expertise in financial statements. The duties expected of the successful applicant are as follows but not limited to: Responsible for monthly group financial reporting. Responsible for planning & coordination of month end close, consolidation process and reporting. Ensure the monthly reporting is aligned with best practice. Analytic review and interpretation of each division/company financial report and business drivers. Meet with financial heads of different departments within the Group monthly to ensure all relevant information is reported in the group financial report. Manage and assist with reporting efficiency projects. Responsible for interim and financial year end reporting (statutory reporting). Assist with the planning & coordination of annual and interim financial reporting procedure with all role-players. Consolidation process. Process optimisation. Compile the Group’s subsidiaries financial statements. Ensure that all financial statements are aligned with IFRS standards and more.
Expected salary: R40000 per month
